If there's one company Microsoft can thank for pioneering with online gaming it's SEGA. Since the days of X-BAND (a service produced by US company 'Catapult' that catered for Genesis gamers) and Sega's online services for the Saturn, online gaming didn't really kick-off untill Sega's Dreamcast arrived. Despite what some people might say, the online Dreamcast community was big, thanks to the impressive amount of quality software available. Sadly, most of the games below are no longer playable online, but at least it should give you a good idea of the released titles.
